SaaS and B2B Tech Writer

I take pride in creating authoritative content that drives sales and increases conversions. Have worked with several disruptive SaaS brands, SaaS content marketing agencies, and digital marketing companies.

“Chayanika is a joy to work with. I absolutely appreciate her focus and ability to express our brand voice — even when conveying complex information.” – Lauren Funaro, [Job Title/Company]

Now, before we set to work together, I would like to set my boundaries and expectations.

OK? OK.

I book my calendar 2-3 weeks in advance. So, reach out to me at least 3 weeks in advance for a project. This will ensure I can set aside a slot for your project.

Once we discuss the requirements and understand the goal, I’ll send you a detailed mail on my work hours and preferred communication process.

Will share a contract with dates, deadlines, and agreed payment terms.

I work on a 50% advance, which you need to pay before the commission of the project. The remaining 50% you need to pay once the project ends.

And we’re not a good match if you need a writer to

  • Create generic content
  • Create bulk SEO articles
  • Work on ad hoc request

OK, that’s all. Now, we’re all set!

My requirements

Upon start of an assignment, I’ll need from you:

  • content calendar
  • content guidelines
  • content brief
  • targeted keywords, and
  • your ICP

Based on the inputs, I will create a content framework. It includes the headers and the key pointers based on my research.

It ensures we’re on the same page. It also helps me create content that you’ll love.

It’s important that you approve the framework first. All suggestions and feedback on changes are welcome. It helps me in creating content faster and minimizing subsequent edits.

“Can recommend Chayanika for long-form SaaS content pieces. Always timely work and quick action on content adjustments.” – Alena Meshcheriakova, [Job Title/Company]

Once the framework is approved, I will write the first draft in 5-7 business days, as per the agreed submission timeline.

Once you receive the first draft, you’ll have 7 business days to come back with any changes. Ensure all the stakeholders get to see and have their say before you send me the draft with edits.

I will work on the edits and submit the revised draft in the next 3-5 business days. My fees include two rounds of edits. Any additional edits will be chargeable.

My process of research

Over the years I have refined my research process so that your content stands out! We have enough regurgitated content out there, and ChatGPT and other AI writing tools are not going to make it any better!

“Chayanika goes above and beyond to research what needs to go in her content and then figures out the best way to put it in words.” – Pulkit Jain, [Job Title/Company]

This is how my research process looks:

  • Understand the search intent of the reader
  • Do the competitor research and find content gaps
  • Interview internal product experts
  • Interview external SMEs
  • Source quotes from PR sites
  • Refer to latest stats, data, and reports
  • Look into industry newsletters for insights
  • Listen to social media, forums and Slack communications
  • Read internal case studies, customer support tickets and sales calls research

My invoicing preferences

I usually work on a retainer basis (for at least 3 months). But occasionally, I also take one-off projects. And as mentioned earlier: I take 50% advance. (that’s non-negotiable)
