Know more about my SaaS content writing services

As a SaaS freelance writer, I book my calendar a month in advance. So, reach out to me at least 3 weeks in advance for a content writing assignment. This ensures I can set aside a slot for your project.

While I have a strong portfolio in place, I understand if you are still apprehensive. So, I can also do a paid test assignment for you to understand fit.

I love processes and I can say it’s easy-breezy to work with me!

“Chayanika’s working style is an asset to any organization. Her dedication to work sets example for her colleagues which in turn brings out great productivity from the whole team.”
– Aravind Bremanandan

Once we discuss the requirements and understand your SaaS marketing goal, I’ll send you a detailed email on my work hours and preferred communication process. A complete freelance writing contract with dates, deadlines, and agreed payment terms.

Then, I work on a 50% advance model. You need to pay that before the commission of the project. The remaining? You can pay once the project ends. We can set payment milestones, too. Once we’re good with each other, I am always happy to move on a monthly billing cycle.

Glad that we’re clear on everything.

Ah, one more thing:

We’re not a good match if you need a writer to

  • Create generic content
  • Create bulk SEO articles
  • Work on ad hoc request

OK, that’s all. Now, we’re all set!

Upon the start of a writing assignment…

Upon start of an assignment, I’ll need from you:

  • content calendar
  • content guidelines
  • content brief
  • target keywords, and
  • your ICP

These help me create content that you’ll love. Of course, your target audience also will love it.

Based on your input, I can create a content framework. The framework includes the headers and the key content pointers based on my research.

I start actual writing only after…

… you approve the content framework. It’s essential for me, as a freelance SaaS writer, to understand your vision correctly. It ensures that your content is created (and delivered) faster while minimizing subsequent edits.

So, all suggestions and feedback on framework changes are welcome.

“Can recommend Chayanika for long-form SaaS content pieces. Always timely work and quick action on content adjustments.”
– Alena Meshcheriakova

Now, once we agree on the apt content framework, I can write and submit the first content draft in 5-7 business days, as per the agreed submission timeline.

When you receive the first draft, you should come back with any changes and suggestions within 7 business days. Ensure all the stakeholders get to see and have their say before you send me the draft for edits.

I will work on the changes as you suggest and submit the revised draft in the next 3-5 business days. My fees include two rounds of edits. Any additional edits will be chargeable.

Sounds good?

I don’t rely only on Google.

We have enough regurgitated content out there, and ChatGPT and other AI writing tools aren’t going to make it any better!

So, I tap into my network of SMEs to pull out reliable and relevant insights. Plus, I have access to meaningful data as a niche B2B SaaS freelance writer. I dig into industry research reports to write authoritative, thought-leadership SaaS business content.

My refined research process ensures that your content stands out.

“Chayanika goes above and beyond to research what needs to go in her content and then figures out the best way to put it in words.”
– Pulkit Jain

This is how my content research process looks:

  • Understand the search intent of the reader
  • Do the competitor research and find content gaps
  • Interview internal product experts
  • Interview external SMEs
  • Source quotes from PR sites
  • Refer to latest stats, data, and reports
  • Look into industry newsletters for insights
  • Listen to social media, forums and Slack communications
  • Read internal case studies, customer support tickets and sales calls research

Now, about payments for my SaaS content writing services…

I usually work on a retainer basis (for at least 3 months) as a contract/freelance content writer. Occasionally, I can also take one-off projects. As mentioned earlier, I take 50% advance. (that’s non-negotiable). We can talk about it in details once I have a better clarity of your requirement. Please feel free to drop me a note!

Sounds good? Let’s create some awesome content!
